Traditional Games Reimagined
The project revives 36 traditional games from Bulgaria, Italy, and Türkiye, promoting the connection between Body, Mind, and Soul. Through international events, a book, videos, and a digital map, it strengthens intergenerational bonds and preserves shared European heritage.
Strategic and imaginative games that stimulate focus, logic, and creativity, inviting curiosity, reflection, and joyful mental challenge. Explore the “Mind” games presented in Italy — timeless activities that sharpen thinking and inspire playful problem‑solving across generations.
Dynamic, movement‑based games that celebrate strength, agility, and the pure joy of physical activity, bringing excitement, rhythm, and playful energy.
Discover the traditional “Body” challenges showcased in Türkiye, infusing the CENTENARY GAMES experience with vitality, motion, and a vibrant spirit of togetherness.
Traditional games that nurture emotional connection, creativity, and community spirit, bringing joy, warmth, and shared memories. Experience the activities presented in Bulgaria, where play becomes a bridge between generations and a celebration of our living cultural heritage.
The project includes specialized side activities in three directions, aimed at applying traditional games to modern education and health. Each event combines a theoretical seminar (lectio magistralis) and a practical workshop for 50 local sports community representatives.
All activities support the EU “Healthy Lifestyle for All” initiative and the European Green Deal by promoting low-carbon family entertainment and sustainable sports development.

The program targets cognitive development and logical thinking. Sports psychology experts present methods for integrating ancient games and eco-friendly puzzles into the curricula of schools and sports clubs.

The focus is on mental wellbeing and strengthening family bonds. With the participation of a BIONET psychologist, topics include emotional health, sustainable culinary heritage, and food waste reduction as part of a healthy lifestyle.

The emphasis is on physical fitness and obesity prevention. Conditioning experts demonstrate the role of traditional sports in sustainable health. The project's final outcomes, the digital pin map and the "GAMES FROM THE CHILDHOOD" book, are presented here.
